Established in 1855, YWCA England & Wales is a charity working with girls and women disadvantaged by issues such as poverty, crime, addiction and abuse. With 14 centres around the country, YWCA runs programmes to provide support, education and advice, as well as helping girls and women to voice their opinions and make positive life-changing decisions.

Champollion has been commissioned to work with YWCA to give the organisation a stronger profile in the public debate about issues facing girls and women throughout England and Wales. We are working with the charity to develop a series of key messages that reflect the fundamental role YWCA plays in providing services to those facing marginalisation and discrimination today. In addition, we are preparing the internal infrastructure for a substantial increase in the organisation’s media and public profile, building relationships with key journalists and opinion formers in their priority policy arenas.
