Laura Brodie
Senior Consultant
An experienced communications professional, Laura has been at Champollion since soon after our launch. She manages several of our largest public policy clients, and is responsible for strategic thinking and managing our team to ensure high class media delivery.
Previously a senior broadcast journalist with many years of expertise in news and
current affairs television, Laura has produced flagship programmes like Question
Time for BBC1, Dispatches and 30 Minutes for Channel 4. Her understanding of the
unique demands of TV, which requires robust soundbites and picture-
Before her career in the media, Laura was on the other side of the divide as the Deputy Press Secretary to the former Leader of the Liberal Democrats, Charles Kennedy MP, for whom she was also the official Press Officer during his successful party leadership campaign in 1999. Hence, she is also an inside expert on all aspects of Parliamentary procedure.
