Jo Tilley-Riley

Associate Consultant

Jo joined Champollion after nearly five years as Director of Strategy & Funding at the Irene Taylor Trust ‘Music in Prisons’, a small but innovative charity dedicated to the rehabilitation of prisoners through the arts. At Music in Prisons, Jo established a firm financial basis for the organisation, encouraging significant growth in income and developing strong financial planning. She also completed a Media Connections Award and successfully took responsibility for the communications programme.

Jo has served on the Steering Group of the Arts Alliance, energising the campaign to change the government’s policy towards using the arts as a rehabilitation tool for prisoners. As part of this work, Jo led and delivered highly successful fringe events at all of the three main party conferences.

At Champollion Jo successfully assists clients to refine their key messages, win national media coverage and build stakeholder networks. She helps manage our media monitoring, identifying opportunities for clients to inject their voice into the debate and offering in-depth analysis of the policy landscape. She has mapped, drafted and managed the development of several client websites. Her in-depth knowledge of campaign tools, fundraising and the third sector can help any organisation we work with to be more effective identifying and achieving their objectives.
