Approaching its centenary in 2010, the Royal Over-Seas League is a membership organisation
based in a spectacular club-house off St James’s in London, with a beautiful home
in Edinburgh and partner establishments around the world. Originally a haven for
British diplomats returning from the Commonwealth, it is now an active centre for
the exchange of international news, ideas and culture (including hosting a prestigious
annual classical music competition). It has a particular focus on promoting human
rights and economic development in Africa. Champollion is assisting ROSL to prepare
for the commemoration of its centenary, and we serve as an out-sourced press office,
helping to advertise systematically its facilities and activities in order to attract
a contemporary clientele. In addition, we provide longer-term strategic advice on
engaging audiences in topical foreign policy and international relations debates
and lectures, attracting high-profile speakers.
