
Britain’s prison system is in crisis: the jails are bursting at the seams, rehabilitation programmes are dying on the vine, and recidivism rates are out of control. Any other public service taking more and more of our money but delivering less and less for it, would be subject to widespread demands for reform. But prisons are invisible to most of us. That is why Champollion has been working for a coalition of leading experts in the field – including former prison governors, charity directors, renowned academics and committed individuals – and advising them on how to establish Make Justice Work.
