The Lucy Faithfull Foundation’s Stop it Now! campaign aims to prevent child sexual abuse by encouraging early recognition and responses to the problem by potential abusers themselves as well as those close to them. Stop it Now! argues that sexual abuse is preventable and calls on abusers and potential abusers to seek help. To date, the campaign has assisted more than 10,000 people who have called its confidential helpline for advice and support. Stop it Now! is also committed to the education and awareness-raising that will enable all adults to play a part in protecting vulnerable children.

At the end of 2009, in the build up to the sentencing of Vanessa George, the infamous perpetrator of crimes against tiny children at Little Ted’s Nursery in Plymouth, which raised the profile of female sexual offenders, Champollion worked with the Lucy Faithfull Foundation to inject their voice into the debate about the importance of taking preventative measures to protect children at risk of sexual abuse. In addition, Champollion has run media training sessions for Stop it Now! spokespeople who must meet the daily challenge of delivering highly sensitive and complex arguments to journalists and politicians.
