The Foundation Training Company is a not-for-profit organisation which aims to break
the cycle of offending by delivering programmes to assist with the resettlement of
offenders – pre-release training and post-release support. Working in prisons across
the country for over fifteen years, the FTC have worked with more than 10,000 offenders,
providing bespoke services to meet their specific needs. In addition to their in-prison
programmes, the FTC has also developed resource centres in inner-London boroughs
to help the return to the community.
Champollion is working with the FTC to help them raise the profile of the work they
do and the fundamental role they play in creating safer communities for the wider
public. As part of this commission, Champollion has helped the FTC to develop a series
of key messages to engage with key stakeholders, as well as a campaign plan to enable
them to inject their experience and voice into the public debate about the rehabilitation
of offenders.
