
CRI, formerly Crime Reduction Initiatives, has grown rapidly over the past decade
to become one of Britain’s largest social care charities. With an annual income of
more than £40 million and over 1,500 staff, CRI provides services in almost 250 local
projects dedicated to the support, treatment and rehabilitation of people with drug
and alcohol problems, the homeless, ex-
CRI is looking to build the profile that their nationwide presence deserves, and
to speak up about the critically important social issues on which they work and have
expertise. Champollion is working with CRI to develop a new communications infrastructure,
where we provide specialist advice and strategic input to coach such a greatly expanded
organisation to handle the media. This includes messaging sessions to draw out what
needs articulating about the organisation and its issues. It also involves a long-
